About Dee Dee Fox

An innovator in Plantscape Design, Dee Dee Fox, C.E.O. and founder of Plant Parenthood, Inc.. has abundant knowledge and experience in the interior landscaping field.

Since its inception in 1972, Plant Parenthood has provided various types of plantscapes for hotels, commercial spaces, restaurants, shopping malls, restaurants, office buildings and hotels.

Fox’s interior plant installations read like a who’s who of Long Island businesses.  Her most ambitious project involved an array of 45 Ft. Bamboo Palms and 25 Ft. Ficus Trees.  These larger then life plants helped transform the Grumman building into an enchanting environment

Fox’s green thumb has not gone unnoticed, as she has been the recipient of            several national awards.  Her company won Interiorscape’s Best Project Award in 1995, 1996, and 1997.

Ms. Fox graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in Fine Arts.  Even though her business keeps her on her toes, she somehow finds the time to engage in “non-plant” activities.  She currently donates her time to  PLAY FOR P.I.N.K, a charitable organization which donates 100% of funds raised to research for the purpose of finding  a cure for breast cancer, and is a volunteer with a Poodle Rescue organization, a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing poodles and finding “forever homes” for the deserving animals.

Fox’s favorite hobby is playing golf.  Her other interests are community  service, networking with other women professionals, and traveling.
